where did you get your figures from? and could you share them with everyone else please.
i think it's fair to say that the 360 has and will continue to do well in the uk. it's france germany and spain where the ps3 does better. i can't see microsoft beating sony this gen, and i would've thought microsoft would know that aswell.
this gen is all about taking market share from sony(which it is doing). japan is and has always been lost to microsft. america, well, sony ...

getting the 360 version. why can't ubi make the game 16 player though?? i was hosting 14 with horrible slow-down, and terrible screen tearing(which seems to be confined to the host aswell). but when i got my elite, and was using my old premium(before i sold it) as a dedicated server hosting 16, it ran smooth as silk, and all my mates loved it...and had to shut up about host advantage! even when i was still dishing out the pain lol.

victory will help sony too start gaining momentum. and the promise of some decent exclusives should help aswell. things have changed though this gen, and it seems that what sells well in one region does'nt do that well in another.

the eu servers work fine for me. some people bounce about slightly....but not everyone has a decent connection. or they have other people in their house on msn.

the reason why i ask is, how much bandwidth is the host going to need to be able too hold 16, with all that going on? are we gonna be talking starwars battlefront here.. a minimum of 1.5meg of upload to able to host a full room.

with the low numbers buying dmc, they must be pleased as hell they went multiplatform. i love the microsoft are getting their arse handed to them coments lol. with the 50 or 60k a month more sony are selling, they are gonna catch up sometime next year, and just scrape a second this gen. it's unbelievable that they could fall so hard. but atleast the ps2 still rocks for them.

now the format war is sorted, people will be buying alot more ps3 for the cheap blu-ray player... i'll be getting mine soon(and for resistance2 ofcourse!). but the software attachment is not great, and console owners make a more cash from royalties on software sold for the hardware. it was obvious sales would spike once hd-dvd was finally laid to rest, but has the tide turned for good?

only hardcore racers are gonna be buying a console for gran tourismo. it's not got mass appeal. the last one i bought gt3 was extremly boring, just like forza1 and 2 were. are driving games system sellers? or do they just appeal to hardcore fan of the genre? i know where my money would be on that.
